I close my eyes and fly,
I fly away from everything,
To a land of wondrous sights,
Where children play and angels sing.
Away from Sadness:
He who weighs the eyes.
The killer of spirits,
The bringer of sighs.
Away from Anger:
The most vengeful beast.
With its tusks and horns it attacks,
And destroys even the loveliest feast.
Away from Regret:
The creator of false memories.
Locking up confidence,
And throwing away the keys.
Away from Fear:
The chains that bind
Motivation and courage,
Scarring the flesh, crippling the mind.
Away from Contempt:
The weight that annihilates.
The mightiest heroes and leaders
Must bow and accept their fate.
Suddenly the utopia is swallowed by darkness,
Eyes remain closed, sit in silence.
Must I return to morose reality?
Must paradise be a pretense?
