Lie in the grass so green
Among the trees both large and green,
Alone beneath the darkened sky,
Count the minutes under the stars so high.
Five minutes until the time,
Cautiously the moon rises like a crime,
Memories of the past fill the mind,
The lost laughter chains now bind.
Four minutes as the smile fades,
The truth hidden behind masquerades,
Imagine what could have been,
Regret - the sin.
Three minutes and you dream,
Dream of what lies downstream,
To sail between Scylla and Charybdis,
And discover personalized bliss.
Two minutes are left now,
To master Dream, bow.
He who commands the future,
The king hidden in the mirror.
One minute to go,
Dragged back with the sound of a crow,
The dark night stings the skin,
Cold and alone, the air grows thin.
The time has finally come,
Heart pounding like a drum,
Fashion the wish and let it fly,
Broodingly away into the night sky.
Eyes sealed, sit in silence,
The doorway closes to the seconds’ cadence,
Into the shadows the wish flew,
Pray it will come true.
